tis is interesting..this board is meaningful..it has all the months n days on it..
take a closer look:) u will notice there is lots of small stickers of boys n girls..
each boy or girl represents a $2 donations..tis also represent dat a child is save from hunger for a day...currently there is more than 10000 child under tis scheme..they need ur help!!
other than the mini boy n girl sticker, there is tis big blue heart sticker..tis is for $10 donations..
tis is our booth..yes! again..i pulled dat two guys to do sum charity..NOOB la..the amount they raised is like less than wat i raised la..zzz..
before i end my charity stuff..i wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to 3 person whom i m really touched over their action..
bcoz we were at a veri corner at plaza singapore, not really many pple will notice us..usually those whom notice us are those dat is out for a puff or waitin for pple or restin in front of us bcoz of the chairs..
so after several failed attempts in askin those restin in front of us, i m quite reluctant to go over to tis ang mo guy in fear of rejection.. so he juz simply sit there n rest n looked at my booth..so he saw me askin pple to support tis fundraising wif lots of rejection..and juz before he left..he walked up to me and asked me abt tis fundraising details..and yes! he took out 10 bucks! is 10 bucks!!! to donate..i m so so so touched! is like i nv tot of pple walkin up n donate so generously..
on a funny note, i asked him to choose a date on the board to paste the sticker on it..haha!!he tot me dat he chose his child birthday..to do a good deed on his/her behalf..such a nice dad:):)
another person i would like to thanks is tis little girl..i tink is pri sch kid! bcoz dat day i tink there is sum talent showcase out PS so many sch have sent their representative to tis showcase..OK bcoz i noe dat they are not here for leisure..i didnt ask them for donation..but tis particular girl she was walkin to and fro my booth..she was attracted by the colorful board..den she walked up to me n pull out a $2 note from her pocket n told me dat she wants to donate.. SHAME ON YOU FOR THOSE WHO JUZ SIMPLY IGNORE MY EXISTENCE! humph! it is so kind of her to do so..when she is leavin tgt wif her team..she hid her face wif sumthin while walkin past my booth..dat's so shy of her..haha!! i rmb her name..is HAZEL:):)
OK the last person is a funny person..tis guy promise mitch dat he will cum back n donate..HAHA!! bcoz when mitch approach him..his wallet onli have 2 kind of notes, 50 bucks or 100 bucks..it is kinda nt good to ask pple to donate 50 bucks bcoz u noe currently singapore cost of living is high..HAHA!!so he promise to donate later..YES HE DID CUM BACK to keep his promise..but mitch wasnt ard so he walked up n asked me abt him..dat's funny..he made the donation and keep remindin me to tell mitch dat he did cum back n make the donation..HAHA!!dat's so funny! anyway thanks for keepin the promise..it is greatly appreciated:)
